We expand our ERP+ portfolio with intelligent service, knowledge and content management products from the cloud
We, one of the leading providers of ERP+ software for mid-market companies, have acquired the Empolis Group, thereby responding to a market that has been shifting toward service-oriented and data-based business models.
Empolis offers its customers AI-based products for service, knowledge and content management. The intelligent service management solutions by Empolis are an excellent supplement to our ERP+ portfolio for mid-sized enterprises from the discrete manufacturing industry. Empolis will continue to act on the market as a legally independent unit within the proALPHA Group. The Empolis products will be deeply integrated into our ERP+ portfolio and at the same time continue to be used in combination with third-party systems.
Headquartered in Kaiserslautern, Empolis offers cloud-based and AI-assisted software products for intelligent decision support that can be used to analyze and intelligently process all information involved in a business process. Around 500 Empolis installations exist around the world, and nearly 700,000 professional users rely on Empolis solutions on a daily basis to serve approximately 40 million end customers.
Among its customers are renowned companies like ABB, BMW, Bosch, Carl Zeiss Microscopy, Homag, Koenig & Bauer, Kuka, MAN Energy Solutions and Vodafone. Empolis is an associate of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), a member of the technology initiative SmartFactory KL e.V., and a member of the Science and Innovation Alliance Kaiserslautern (SIAK) advisory board.
