Dual leadership at Insiders: Andree Albrecht joins the management team alongside Dr. h.c. Werner Weiss
Insiders Technologies is setting the course for the company's next phase of development, following its integration into the Proalpha Group in September 2025. As of June 2026, Andree Albrecht will join Dr. h.c. Werner Weiss in the company's management team. Effective October 1, 2026, long-standing Managing Director Dr. h.c. Werner Weiss will step down from his role at Insiders, and sole responsibility for the management will be transferred to Andree Albrecht. The joint leadership phase until the end of September is intended to ensure a seamless transition while also providing important momentum for the company's continued strategic development.
With this transition, a defining era in the company's history comes to an end: Since its spin-off from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in 1998, Werner Weiss has built and shaped Insiders over decades as managing partner. As one of the pioneers in the field of applied artificial intelligence, he succeeded early on in effectively connecting research and industrial application. Under his leadership, Insiders evolved into an internationally successful provider of AI-based process automation and became one of the most successful spin-offs of the DFKI.

Andree Albrecht brings extensive experience from the software and platform business within the Proalpha Group. He joined Proalpha in 2018 as Sales Director and took over the management of the group company Corporate Planning in 2022. In this role, he most recently played a key role in driving the company's strategic development, harmonizing organizational structures, and supporting customers and partners on their journey toward data-driven corporate management.
With his experience at the intersection of technology, data, and business value, Andree Albrecht brings valuable perspectives and proven expertise to the further development of Insiders – particularly in the areas of AI-based automation, intelligent platforms, and strategic advancement within the Proalpha Group.
The coming months will therefore be marked equally by continuity and forward-looking transformation: Together, Werner Weiss and Andree Albrecht will continue Insiders' successful journey and further strengthen the company's position as a leading provider of intelligent automation and AI-driven business processes.
