ERP core business under new leadership to align strategic orientation, develop interface to ERP+ branch, and create integrated foundation for further growth

Weilerbach, July 2, 2024 – The proALPHA company group, one of the leading providers of ERP+ software solutions for medium-sized businesses, appoints Michael Wüstemeier to the new position of ERP President, effective July 1 of this year. This division comprises all solutions of the proALPHA ERP core applications. This step is to centralize the focus of the ERP business unit, unify its strategic orientation, and maximize the potential and synergies together with the ERP+ division (business solutions beyond the ERP core applications). Michael Wüstemeier will report directly to Eric Verniaut, CEO of the proALPHA Group.

Michael Wüstemeier has been with the proALPHA Group for 16 years. During this time, he also served as Managing Director (MD) of proALPHA's Austrian subsidiary and was able to successfully advance operations. Most recently, in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) ERP and member of the management team, he has further enhanced the group's business results and devoted himself to the core topics of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Since 2018, Michael Wüstemeier has been a member of the extended board of the proALPHA User Group (AWK), an association of approximately 500 corporate users in the DACH region. He holds a diploma in business informatics from the University of Münster.

"I'm very much looking forward to my new tasks, especially the collaboration with the ERP+ division led by Christoph Kull to further develop value-added innovations for our mid-market customers with an integrated go-to-market strategy," says Michael Wüstemeier.

"I wish Michael Wüstemeier all the best for his new role," says Eric Verniaut, CEO of the proALPHA Group. "I'm particularly pleased that we have once again been able to fill this key position with a talented manager from within our own ranks.

"Michael Wüstemeier knows proALPHA and the ERP business like no other and is therefore perfectly suited for this role, in which he will focus on the further growth of the ERP core business and the integrated alignment and collaboration of the two strategic business divisions."
