    Highlights

ERP implementation completed in just twelve months

A structured project process with a steering committee enabled rapid and successful implementation.

Production controlled using family forms and automatic inventory checks

Proalpha's scheduling function enables the efficient control of complex manufacturing processes.

Series and individual production integrated into one system

The combination of toolmaking and injection molding was fully mapped and controlled in Proalpha.

    What was the initial situation?

Gaudlitz had a complex manufacturing structure involving both individual and series production, as well as international locations. However, the processes were not fully digitised, and there was no central control system. The company's growth, coupled with the demands of the automotive and medical technology industries, necessitated the implementation of a modern ERP solution.

    Why the decision for Proalpha?

Proalpha impressed with the deep integration of all its modules and its mapping of industry-specific processes. The ability to efficiently control both series and individual production was a key consideration.
Further decisive factors were the system's scalability to international locations and the integration of DMS and workflow.

    How can success be measured?

The implementation was successfully completed in just twelve months. The new measures significantly increased the transparency and efficiency of processes. By 2014, the Chinese subsidiary was operating independently and contributing almost a quarter of total sales.
