“We feel well equipped with Proalpha. Without this technology, we would not have been able to manage the growth of recent years.”

    Highlights

    Simultaneous rollout across all divisions

The ERP solution was rolled out simultaneously across the entire company, creating a consistent process landscape.

    High-bay warehouse seamlessly connected

The Kardex high-bay warehouse was conveniently integrated, automating material provision and making it more efficient.

    CAD systems directly linked

Design engineers can access ERP data such as drawings or purchase prices directly from the CAD environment, which speeds up development processes.

    What was the initial situation?

Venjakob worked with an outdated PPS system and separate accounting software without any connection between the systems. The rapid growth of the company made these isolated solutions increasingly untenable. The processes were not consistent and there was no central database for efficient work.

    Why the decision for Proalpha?

A detailed selection process involving the FIR at RWTH Aachen University led to the choice of Proalpha. The decisive factors were the high degree of integration, low adaptation costs, and flexibility of the system. The BI functions and CAD connection via CA-Link were particularly impressive.

    How can success be measured?

The number of users has risen from 40 to 72, and further expansion is planned.
Business processes are running smoothly and efficiently, which has made the growth of recent years possible. Even though the benefits cannot be quantified in euros, one thing is clear: the system works perfectly and meets all expectations.
