Efficiency increase of 20 percent expected
Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies GmbH is a subsidiary of the mid-market consulting firm Hanselmann & Compagnie GmbH. In April 2023, the previously used SAP solution was replaced with proALPHA ERP. The urgent yet cost-intensive update to SAP HANA had prompted Hanselmann to look into possible ERP alternatives. In the end, Hanselmann & Compagnie opted for proALPHA ERP since its standard version already covers industry solutions that are perfect for the mid-market segment.
Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies, formerly known as Murrplastik Produktionstechnik GmbH, have specialized in innovative plastics technologies in the field of injection molding for the automotive and furniture industry and mechanical & plant engineering. Thanks to new technologies and many years of experience from business consulting, digital concepts are introduced to the shop floor and evaluated as a "reference factory" for the Hanselmann & Compagnie Group. In 2020, Murrplastik Produktionstechnik GmbH began its transformation into Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies. The goal is to establish a customer-centered business with focus on "production excellence".
Dedicated industry solutions for the win
Since the necessary update to SAP HANA would have incurred massive costs, Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies only saw one way: switching to another ERP provider. After a thorough evaluation process, they opted for proALPHA ‒ mainly because of the existing industry solutions of the ERP+ expert, for example for the mid-market automotive industry or mechanical and plant engineering. The great functional depth and width of the proALPHA standard solution was another convincing advantage since this allows Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies to do without the otherwise necessary cost-intensive customizations, which means significant cost savings for the implementation.
Furthermore, the company can benefit from the solution portfolio of Böhme & Weihs, a proALPHA Group company, who is a real expert in the field of quality and production management and provides an integrated, top-notch CAQ (computer-aided quality) system. Compared to SAP HANA, Hanselmann & Cie. Technologies can now replace all previously used systems since the integrated and comprehensive proALPHA system covers everything from ERP through to quality control. The migration project started in spring 2022. The go-live took place in April 2023.
Efficiency increase of 20 percent

The greatest benefit we see in the cooperation with proALPHA, however, is full transparency of our workflows and processes. By implementing another state-of-the-art solution, we make further progress in the transformation process we started back in 2020."
