If you're looking for a new ERP system, you have to carefully weigh the pros and cons since this decision affects the next years if not decades of your company. It's therefore very important to make the right choice. Companies looking for a new ERP system are encouraged to participate in the annual ERP congress with an exclusive trade fair hosted by the Center for Enterprise Research Potsdam. |
This year, the congress took place on October 26 and 27 in the Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport, attracting visitors with the best ERP systems, interesting specialist lectures, hands-on instructions and more. The highlight of the event was the award for the "ERP System of the Year 2021". The finalists of the competition, including us, presented their role in the continuous transformation process and the special functions of their systems.
In his lecture, our Automotive Manager Ralf Marchlewitz gave deep insights into the intelligent industry solution by proALPHA and showed which functions of our software effectively advance suppliers.
One of our customers was also present: Flux-Geräte GmbH. For more than 70 years now, the company has been known for pump technology, which they have been advancing with our ERP solution since 2016. In their lecture, they talked about the implementation of product configuration and how it helped them to master the vast number of product variants in all their complexity.

Always ahead: tried, tested and certified
Another proof for our high process competence based on the standardized implementation method and our coverage of the numerous requirements in the automotive industry is the ITA/VDA certificate. In 2020, proALPHA has gone through a three-stage certification process by the ITA Automotive Service Partner (ITA) and the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and received the certificate, making us the first certified ERP provider for automotive and supply. With this certificate, ITA wants to help automotive suppliers find the right ERP system.
Control is good and so is trust
In addition to the assurance provided by certificates and awards, you also have to gain the customers' trust. Mutual trust is essential since the decision to implement an ERP system often means a commitment of ten or more years.
The question of which ERP providers are the most trusted ones has been recently answered by the German magazine Computerwoche in cooperation with the Institute for Management & Economy Research (IMWF). A sentiment analysis has shown that we set the benchmark here, ranking first among all providers, which makes us very proud.
But we will not rest on our laurels. Instead, we continue to optimize and develop our ERP solution with the help of our customers and partners. Winning the title of "ERP System of the Year 2021" in the category "Automotive" shows that our hard work pays off and we are very proud to advance SMEs on a daily basis.
