proALPHA Teams Up with Two New Intralogistics Partners
The standardized connection to the special solutions reduces the time and effort required for implementing projects.
Today's logistics and manufacturing processes can no longer be treated as separate, isolated workflows. Small and mid-sized enterprises have to take a holistic approach when planning and controlling internal and external information and value flows. The IT-controlled administration of material flows in intralogistics is therefore key to establishing smart, future-proof value-added chains. By teaming up with proLogistik GmbH + Co KG and viastore SOFTWARE GmbH, proALPHA expands its intralogistics service portfolio. Thanks to the standardized connection to proALPHA ERP, the intralogistics solutions can be implemented fast and with low effort.
The two new partners and proALPHA have successfully worked together in the past. proLogistik and proALPHA have completed numerous wholesale projects. Together with viastore, proALPHA has implemented automotive and international projects. In the future, the three companies want to continue their close cooperation on the basis of a joint strategy.
Comprehensive Solutions for Seamless Logistics Processes
Both providers offer a wide variety of services, from planning customized logistics solutions through to their delivery. Their products range from pick-by-voice solutions to forklift control systems. They help optimize corporate intralogistics processes and boost the growth and profitability of proALPHA customers.
proLogistik's core business is the planning and implementation of effective warehouse management. As a system house, the company not only provides the software but also related hardware and services. proLogistik solutions include warehouse management systems for the trade and industrial sector as well as paperless picking solutions, mobile data collection systems, and voice-controlled dialog systems.
With its warehouse management system "viadat", viastore offers a state-of-the-art solution for managing and controlling connected material flows in production and logistics. It meets all requirements in intralogistics, including those of Industry 4.0. By offering more than 2,500 functionalities in the standard version, the software is perfectly suited for logistics centers with high inventory turnover as well as for conventional, manual and forklift-operated sites. viadat can be effortlessly tailored to suit the needs of individual customers and is easy to learn.
High Level of Standardization
With their cooperation, proALPHA and its two intralogistics partners aim to achieve a high level of standardization when connecting the special solutions to the ERP system by means of the proALPHA Integration Workbench (INWB). This helps speed up the implementation of projects because modifications will only be required for specific customer requirements.
Bernhard Fix, partner manager at proALPHA, on the benefit of this approach: "In the future, 70 to 80 percent of the connection to our partner solutions will be standardized. The remaining 20 to 30 percent will be implemented in close cooperation with the respective customers and our partners. This enables us to offer our customers an extremely fast and convenient way of integrating intralogistics solutions in proALPHA."
